I’m Soham. I lead product and infrastructure at HydraDB. I joined as the founding engineer and built the backend and the Kubernetes platform it runs on.

This blog covers backend engineering: databases, distributed systems, Kubernetes and infrastructure. Some posts explain a concept from the ground up, some are notes from production, and some explain a classic paper. Longer topics are written as series.
